What is “Influencer Marketing”? Capture its HORSEPOWER!

Have you ever heard of “Influencer Marketing”? If you haven’t pay attention over the next 60 seconds because this will change the way that you promote your e-books, especially when you promote your webinars, but the best way for your content marketing strategy to go viral.

Now lets think about this for a second – we’re a small business, we’re in social selling, the reality is we have a database of “X” number of VP’s of sales and VP’s of Sales enablement okay. Our world is that big, but what about all the influencers that are the rock stars of the sales community – Jill Konrath, Trish Bertuzzi, Ken Krogue these are just a handful names of people that VP’S of Sales read about, learn about, watch on videos and emulate because they’re the leaders.

Now, there’s a tool out there called “Little Bird” – write this down – “Little Bird”. This one tool allows you to put in any keyword like – “Payroll” or “Time and Attendance” or “Human Capital Management” or whatever is the buzz words within your industry, and what it will do is spit out all the influencers around that industry.

I want you to take that report and I want you to give it to your sales team. What it does is allow them to connect with these people on Twitter, and now they have an unlimited content supply to be able to share with your buyers, because in fact these are the people that influenced your buyers and then you could start developing relationships with these people. Its these people who have databases 10x more powerful than your own, that you can leverage by inviting as a panelist for your webinars, help promote your e-books or co-write your e-books. All of the sudden the database that they have, which are names and numbers you don’t have, and its two times, ten times however much bigger are now influencing these people to download this information, ultimately coming into your database and becoming marketing and sales qualified leads for your sales team.
