Fred’s realization that sales and business leadership was his destiny came as a young boy delivering newspapers. After graduating his studies of marketing and merchandising from Shaw Colleges he worked in the retail sector for a few years. He quickly proved himself as a leader and managed stores in some of the most prestigious shopping malls in the GTA. Looking for a new opportunity to develop his success and sales skills he became a life insurance agent. Fred’s successful sales process was honed by receiving his first formal sales training while at Metropolitan Life. He realized that with a formal sales process and taking a consultative approach to filling others needs he would create wins for everyone.
The opportunity bug bit Fred as he launched into business for himself. Taking over a failing automotive restyling business his drive and determination to succeed help him achieve 400% growth in just 3 years. Being recognized as a business leader he rallied a team of independent automotive businesses and became a founding and board member of a distribution warehouse. This venture grew to a multimillion dollar organization in 3 years when it was acquired by a competitor and proved to be quite lucrative for investors. In order to grow as a business professional Fred knew he had to succeed at the corporate level. He joined Dun & Bradstreet and spent 7 years growing his business acumen. Fred’s successes lead him through more senior positions and into the boardrooms of several of their top clients. In 2003 he was awarded their prestigious Winners Circle.
After leaving D&B Fred again joined a small company and was entrusted to train and develop existing and new staff’s sales skills. He also created some new revenue streams for them that were previously unsuccessful. In June of 2007 the entrepreneurial bug bit Fred again. He and his partner in success at D&B, George Albert joined forces again to lead Sales for LifeTM to be a trusted and leading sales consulting practice.
Today, Fred’s business knowledge and entrepreneurial experience is being shared with companies that are looking for growth.
